Pastoral Relations Committee:

The Pastoral Relations Committee stems from the idea of the Church Council that it would be beneficial to form a committee that would assist both the pastor and congregation as a resource and for support.

The Pastoral Relations Committee has been created to support and maintain an open and healthy relationship between the pastor and members of the congregation. The committee will provide a sounding board, emotional support, and act act as advocates for the pastor. The committee will also provide a way for the congregation to share ideas, dreams, hopes, expectations, and concerns with the pastor. Confidentiality will be assured. Unlike the Personnel Committee, the Pastoral Relations Committee will not be making policy or handling any personnel issues.

There are a variety of ways you can contact committee members. You can call the church for their phone number or email at 406/252-8390. You can write your comments on a Pastoral Relations Action Request form that will be available in the narthex of the church or here on the website (See text below). Or you can simply speak with a committee member. Direct contact with any committee member will provide the best confidentiality.

The committee has been created to provide an avenue of communication to the benefit of our pastor and congregation. Please feel free to contact the committee with any questions regarding its work or issues you may have. We hope that the open communication will strenghten the spiritual life of our church.
